In Merchant of Venice, why is Antonio sad?
You ever been there where you really want to give to a loved one so much that you feel sort of down when you don’t have anything to give, and a friend swings by and asks for something and you want so desperately to give someone to him that you go to wild lengths that you wouldn’t normally go to to give something to him?
